  Entourage Setup for Microsoft Exchange   

  1. Open Entourage.
     
  2. In Entourage select Tools from the menu bar and then click on Accounts.

  3. Click on the Exchange tab and then select New.

  4. In the Account Setup Assistant, select Configure account manually.


     
  5. For the Account Name type in: UI Exchange.
     
  6. Fill in the Name field with Your name as you want it to appear in your e-mails.


     
  7. Type in your E-mail address (username@uidaho.edu).
     
  8. For Account ID, enter only your username (Everything before the @ symbol in your e-mail address).
     
  9. For Domain type AD.
     
  10. For the Password, type in your Novell/AD password.
     
  11. For the Exchange Server, type: https://mail.uidaho.edu.  This should check the box below for This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL).  If it doesn't you will need to check it.
     
  12. Click on the Advanced tab.


     
  13. If you are going to be using public folders, you will need to insert the address mail.uidaho.edu/public, and then check the box This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL).
     
  14. For the LDAP server type in ad.uidaho.edu.
     
  15. Now you can hit OK to go back to the Accounts Box.  You can close this box to return to Entourage.

Setup for Evolution will use the same server settings as Entourage.
