  Entourage Pops to Exchange  

These steps will allow you to move messages you had previously POP'd to your computer back to the server for use in Exchange 
  1. Select the Tools drop down menu and click on Account

  2. Select New to add an IMAP account.

  3. Select IMAP for Account Type and and click OK.

  4. Fill in the blanks below as shown.  Click OK to continue.

  5. If you don't put your Novell/AD password in on the previous screen it will prompt you for your Novell/AD password.  Fill in your password and click OK to continue.

  6. Now the two accounts should be listed.  Close the Accounts window.

  7. Your POP account e-mails will still be located under Folders on My Computer.  You should see the Exchange mailbox located mid way down.

  8. To move messages from your old Inbox, Sent, or Drafts folders you will need to select the messages rather than move the folder.  To do this click on the first message in the first folder you choose, then scroll down to the bottom message and shift click on it, highlighting them all.  Click and drag them to the desired folder under the Exchange account.  You will need to repeat this process for all three folders.

  9. To move a custom folder from your local computer to the Exchange system, simply click and drag the folder under the section Folders on My Computer to the Exchange section.  The folders will then appear below the Exchange sections.
