  How To Change Passwords In Email Clients  
This list details changing passwords in Mac Mail, Outlook 2003 & Thunderbird.

Mac Mail

1.  While in the Mail client, select the Mail menu item and then the Preferences...

        Select mail and then preferences

2.  In the Password box enter your new password

Type in password in the password box

 

 

Outlook 2003

1.  Under the Tools menu bar item select E-mail Accounts...

        Select tools and then options

2.  Select the View or change existing e-mail accounts and then select Next

select view or change existing e-mail account and then click next

3.  Make sure that the imap.uidaho.edu account is selected then select Change...

select the imap.uidaho.edu account and select change

4.  In the Password box, type in your new password and select Next

Type in your new password in the password box then click next

5.  On this window select Finish

        Select finish

 

 

Thunderbird

1.  Select the Tools menu bar item and then select Options...

        Select tools then options

2.  Under Privacy select the Passwords tab.  In this tab select View Saved Passwords

        Click the View saved passwords button

3.  Select the imap.uidaho.edu account and then click Show Passwords

        Select the imap.uidaho.edu account and click on show passwords

4.  Type in your new password and click OK

        Type in your new password in the password box
